The Holosun IRIS-1-RD / IRIS-1-GR / IRIS-1-IR is a slim, single-function laser aiming device designed for users who demand maximum reliability with minimal weight. The redesigned 7075 aluminum housing achieves approximately 33% weight reduction and 20% lower profile compared to the LS117 series, making it ideal for modern rifles and compact platforms.

The IRIS module is operated via a centrally positioned top-fire push button with momentary and constant-on modes. Additionally, the device features a rear power/mode selector and includes a single-button pressure pad switch (Crane plug / gel button) for remote activation.

Power is supplied by one AA battery, with low battery status indicated by an LED. The device is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance and offers high resistance to shock and vibration.

The three variants differ only in the type of laser:

• IRIS‑1‑RD: visible red laser, 635 nm, ≤ 5 mW, laser class 3R
• IRIS‑1‑GR: visible green laser, 520 nm, ≤ 5 mW, laser class 3R
• IRIS‑1‑IR: infrared laser, 800–880 nm, 0.7 mW, laser class 1 (for night vision devices)
