The Holosun IRIS-2-RD-IR / IRIS-2-GR-IR is a dual aiming laser (visible + IR) housed in an ultra-compact 7075 aluminum body—intentionally designed to be flatter and lighter than its predecessor, with a centrally positioned activation button for ambidextrous operation.

This multi-laser device features parallel-aligned visible and infrared (IR) lasers. This allows for fast and precise zeroing of both lasers using the visible laser in daylight conditions.

The rear on/off switch and a mode selector improve ergonomics and ease of use. The IRIS module offers four operating modes, each with two brightness levels. The user can choose between a visible laser and an IR laser, both available in two power levels.

Power is supplied by a CR123A battery, with decreasing capacity indicated by a red LED.

The two models differ only in the color of the visible laser:

• IRIS-2-RD-IR: visible red laser (approx. 635 nm)
• IRIS-2-GR-IR: visible green laser (520 nm)

Both variants also include an IR laser (830 nm) for use with night vision devices.
